The SSCR61-1 (Cr6) and the IC-009 (CrO4) are both made from Cr2O7…SSCR61-1 is from solute K2Cr2O7 and IC-009 is from solute (NH4)2Cr2O7.
Even though the solute for IC-009 is Cr2O7, the chemistry of this product is formulated for CrO4 just like Inorganic Ventures. Changing the name to dichromate would be incorrect because it is formulated for chromate. Customers wanting to test for chromate should use our chromate standard which is IC-009. Sorry for the confusion but we have years of stability data using our solute so we cannot change the solute.
